Gmail has a simple feature that able to play audio files in your mail attachment including wav, wma and mp3 audio files. It has a simple pop-up music player when you press “Play” at the bottom of your mail (near to the bottom posting box). You can also save your audio file(s) by clicking the “Download” link.
What if you want to keep your audio files in your mailbox and view/place it in several playlists?

You can create more labels to sort out different artistes and different genres based on your personal preferences. I’ve created one label “Songs” for mails that contain songs that were sent by my benevolent friends.
